FOTOWERK at Flatfile Gallery

In 2002 and 2003, I exhibited my Saw and Artwriter at Flatfile Gallery’s two FOTOWERK Exhibitions in Chicago, Illinois. The Artwriter is a conceptual piece that “types” photographic images. Each key represents a different area of the c-print poppy image. Film replaces the ink ribbon and each key is painted to correspond with the type bar character. It’s a conceptual piece and does not actually function.
